Barefoot Myofascial Release is a therapeutic full body treatment using the feet to apply intense but deeply relaxing, sustained pressure and drag. The purpose is to free up myofascial adhesions “knots” thus leading to improved range of motion and overall general comfort. This is an ideal treatment for those experienced with Massage Therapy, those who enjoy intense “deep tissue” style bodywork, and those seeking therapeutic full body massage. A sheet is used to wrap and cover the “bathing suit” areas of the body.

Manual Therapy involves therapeutic manipulation for pain relief, better alignment, or problems like carpal tunnel syndrome, limited range of motion, TMJ, migraines/headaches. I apply focused attention to areas of pain or chronic tension as well as to broader areas of the body for structural balance. 

During these sessions I apply techniques from Fascial Counterstrain, Gentle Deep Tissue, Medical Massage, Thai Massage, and Positional Release Therapy. These are typically clothed sessions. Please arrive wearing thin lounge wear or athletic wear with minimal waistbands, zippers, or buttons/snaps.

Please schedule 60 minutes for one focus area, 90 minutes for two or three focus areas, and 120 minutes for two or three focus areas with integration between regions.

Wellness massage is an unclothed, draped, full body massage applied with the hands, forearms, knees, and shins  featuring gliding strokes, gentle manipulation of the soft tissue, and elements of Myofascial Release, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and Counterstrain. It is slow, comfortable work, is appropriate for reducing stress and tension. It is both relaxing and therapeutic. 90 minutes for general full body, 120 minutes for full body with one or two areas of focus. A sheet is used to wrap and cover the “bathing suit” areas of the body.

I offer mobile services for an additional $30 for travel time, and the extra work of setup and break down
